We offer two options:
Dew Cottage
Uil Skuil Camping
Dew Cottage is a relaxed and private escape on a little organic fruit farm called Vredenshoogte - meaning 'Peaceful Heights', or, like someone aptly put it, 'The Height of Peace'. The farm itself is found in the Keisie Valley, a picturesque corner of the world, 25km from Montagu.

Set in an indigenous garden and circled on all sides by pretty landscape, the cottage sleeps four to five, and is equipped for a comfortable self-catering weekend, with linen, towels, duvets, heater and fan provided. The kitchen is equipped and there is a fireplace in the lounge.

Outside on the timber deck, one can dine alfresco, whilst enjoying the view of the mountains and farmland. Cool off under the outdoor shower and daydream in the hammocks whilst listening to the birds and the frogs in the seasonal stream below. Your braai and firepit for that balmy evening under the stars is in the secluded garden off the deck.

Season dependent fruit, almonds, herbs and vegetables are available for purchase, plus the farm makes a whole range of its own tasty jams, jellies, chutneys and conserves.

With the Langeberg mountains above, the farm often has snow-peaked winters - get your timing right and you'll experience a veritable wonderland. The rest of the year varies between a postcard picture of spring flowers, fruit trees that are either in bloom or hanging heavy with figs, apricots and almonds.

A laid back spot perfect for couples, a small group of friends or a family with children,
Uil Skuil (Owl Hide) Campsite is a private campsite with an ablution facility and lapa. There is a central fire pit and grass camping area.

The lapa has washing-up facilities, benches and a table. It is open on two sides to admire the views and provides shelter on a rainy day.

The ablutions have a basin, mirror, hot shower and flushing loo.
